A fresh retwist is a canvas; styling is the art. For weddings, galas, photo shoots, and the days you simply want to feel unforgettable, I sculpt your locs into updos and finishes with movement and shape: mohawks, flower petals, barrel twists, French rolls, and Bantu knots.
Styling is added to a retwist appointment, priced by your length so there are no surprises. Tell me about your event when you book, and bring a photo if you have one; translating your inspiration into your locs is my favorite kind of work.

For the cleanest, longest lasting result, yes. Styles sit best on freshly retwisted roots with clean parts, so styling is booked as an add-on to a retwist appointment. If your event is close and your retwist is recent, talk to me at booking; I will tell you honestly whether your current foundation will carry the style beautifully.
More than most people imagine. My styling menu includes mohawks, flower petal updos, barrel twists, French rolls, and Bantu knots, plus two strand and rope twist finishes at every length. If you have seen a style you love, bring the photo to your appointment or send it when you book, and I will recreate it for your locs.
As early as you can, especially in wedding and holiday season, because my suite serves one client at a time and event mornings fill first. Two to three weeks ahead is a comfortable target. Tell me the event date when you book, and I will help you time the appointment so your style is at its freshest on the day.
A well built updo on a fresh retwist typically carries you through your event and several days beyond, especially if you protect it at night with a satin wrap. I will show you how to sleep in it and how to take it down without disturbing your parts, so the style gives you beauty now and easy hair after.
