Your retwist begins the Culture and Locs way: a deep cleansing, stimulating wash, then scalp oiling with all-natural products before a single loc is touched. I work your new growth down with clean, precise parts, and finish with a basic style that holds.
Want more than a basic finish? Updos, two strand twists, and rope twists are simple add-ons, priced by your length on my styling page. If it has been more than three months since your last visit, a separation and clean-parts add-on of $30 may apply, and I will always tell you before we start.

Most of my clients do best every four to six weeks. That rhythm keeps your parts clean and your roots healthy without stressing your edges. Go much longer and new growth begins to tangle and thin at the base, which is why overdue locs sometimes need separation work. At your visit I will tell you honestly what your hair is asking for.

Yes, and please do not feel embarrassed walking in. Locs that have gone more than three months need cutting for separation and clean parts, which is a $30 add-on to your appointment. I will assess your hair gently, explain exactly what it needs, and restore it step by step. Neglected locs are some of my favorite transformations.
Plan on about one hour fifteen minutes for medium and large locs, up to one hour forty-five for extra small locs, because smaller locs mean more of them to work through. Your appointment is private and unrushed, with no double booking, so the time on the booking page is the time you can count on.
