I am Shameila Watson, founder and owner of Culture & Locs Hair Bar. I have been a licensed loctician for over five years, and I founded my business in 2019 on a simple conviction: locs deserve the same specialized, luxurious care as any other crown of hair, delivered by someone who does nothing else.
My specialty is the growth and maintenance of healthy locs using all-natural products, including my own Erlande Locks Oil. No heavy waxes, no build-up, no shortcuts that cost you length later. Just clean technique, honest advice, and patience.
My suite inside THE LAB SALON SUITES is private and by appointment only, so there are no walk-ins and no long waits. Clients describe the experience as professionalism, culture, and music, with a complimentary glass of wine and an atmosphere that lets you truly unwind. I would love to welcome you into it.
